The Conceit of Low Self Esteem and the Pride of Humility
If you have low self-confidence, you're probably involved with yourself. Which is only a backwards kind of conceit. If you've low self-esteem, you imagine you're special. No-one is really as low while you. No-one is really as undeserving as you. Everyone else in the world might be deserving of receiving care well, of having good relationships, financial success, health, spiritual connection, or whatever it is that you believe that you do not deserve. Probably all that. Here's finished .: if you encountered someone else who thought the way you do, you'll think something such as, “no-one deserves to have such hard luck.” Or “everyone deserves health, and success, and good relationships.” In simple terms, you're harder on yourself than other people. Somehow you're so unique, so special, that ordinary human rights and dreams don't apply to you. It's kind of like what you call “terminal uniqueness” in the recovery movement. Nothing ever works out to suit your needs, or ever will, and you also certainly don't enjoying things go the right path anyhow. Now before you decide to bite my head off, permit me to say that you simply may not accept anything I said intellectually. That is, you'll realize it really doesn't make sense at all, but should you're honest on your own you'll admit that thatrrrs how you feel anyway. You think a proven way, and feel the opposite. Here's a secret: when there's a battle between your heart and the mind, guess which wins? (Hint: it isn't the top!) Every time. So what's pretty much everything about the pride of humility, then? You have to have enough pride in yourself to understand that you simply are just like worthy, just as worthy of happiness plus a rewarding life as any other human being. You have to be humble enough to realize you're the same as all the others, and distinctive as well. Just like all others. We don't rate individuals on a scale. So-and-so doesn't make the cut to my standards, so he / she turns into stranded with the station when the train of life's goodies comes by. Or maybe so-and-so really gets a's and b's in my scale, so he or she gets another freightcar load of goodies. Here's remote energy medicine coaching : you're human being. That qualifies one to get on the happy train. If any human being deserves it, you do too. Get over yourself. You're as good as anyone else, as worthy of someone else. Even should you've really screwed up, you deserve an extra, third, fourth and endless chances exactly like someone else. The real challenge with all this is not that you just can't stick to the logic. It's that your internal programs are screaming in denial so loudly which you literally cannot keep this thought in your mind regarding yourself and accept is as true. On a scale of 0 to 10 where 0 equal completely false, and 10 equals completely true, if you exactly how true is it that you believe that you're worthy of an excellent life, you'll are available in under 5. I'm guessing well under 5. Well, the good thing is that there are solutions to rewrite those internal programs once and for all, and it isn't really gonna take five years of therapy and tens of thousands of dollars to make it happen, although occasionally that actually helps. You don't have to look inside the mirror and bombard yourself with endless affirmations that you just don't believe either, although that has been recognized to help also. What works neatly, quickly is energy medicine, or energy psychology. There are several excellent methods and techniques available, and you must find one which resonates along. I use meridian tapping techniques, particularly Matrix Reimprinting, because I have found it to be especially helpful with long standing issues similar to this, but find what works and feels comfortable for you personally. When you begin to essentially feel comfortable within your skin, it's actually a great feeling. Do yourself – and everyone near you – a big favor, and deprive yourself of it.
